Book Cover for my latest book, "Sanctuary ~ A Colleen Broadhurst Adventure [5]."

Yesterday I published my tenth book. Every time I write a book I pray that I live long enough to publish it. So, now that I have published this tenth book, I'm in trouble, aren't I? I better start another one so I can stay alive for at least another six months. That's how long it usually takes me to write a book.

Unlike a lot of authors, I never seem to get "writer's block." I never create an outline of my books before I write them, either. I get an idea, I sit down in front of my computer and then I type Chapter one. The next time I sit in front of my computer, I write Chapter two. I never know what I'm going to write until I sit down in front of my computer. I usually don't know how the book will end until the last few chapters. The book usually writes itself. I often wonder if there isn't a frustrated spirit writing books through me because while I'm writing, whether it's a short story, a novel, or a poem, it just comes out of me as if I have little or no control over it.

The book I just finished has 266 pages, 53 chapters and I wrote it in four months. It's a great story, too, If I do say so myself. I think it's put together well and I believe my readers will enjoy reading it.

So, who do I believe the mysterious spirit is who writes under the name of "Christine B.?" I'm really not sure. Whoever it is, she has a lot of stories to tell, and she's not afraid to tell them.
